Other Initiatives

Tiger Widows Organisation has taken other initiatives in Sundarbans in situations where we are unable to immediately form Self-Help-Groups.

Boat Refurbishment

We are providing funds for the refurbishment of a boat that can be used for local medical emergencies and transport needs for the local community and ICNL and Tiger Widows Organisation. Traveling by boat around the Sundarban Islands is necessary for further surveys to find tiger widows and deprived community groups. The boat is also necessary for formation and monitoring of more Self-Help-Groups.
